Jared Englund, co-founder of Lion Heart Kombucha, has taught hundreds of Portlanders how to safely brew at home since 2009. In the class you will learn the history and science of kombucha, how to make an easy 1-gallon batch at home, and also how to scale up to larger batches, flavor, and carbonate your brew. The class is $25/person and includes a starter culture. Gallon jars and full starter kits will be available for purchase in the class.
