It's that time of year!
With the coming of the sun and warmth of summer, lavender is in bloom all around Oregon. The prime times to experience the wonderful sights and scents of lavender fields here in Oregon is mid-June through August. We are lucky to have a large number of lavender farms around the northern part of Oregon and southern part of Washington.
The Oregon Lavender Association or OLA was created in 2008 in an effort to promote lavender as a thriving and viable agribusiness in Oregon. This great organization seeks to support growers, nurseries, farms, suppliers and lavender enthusiasts in the Pacific Northwest.
Many of their members host lavender festivals this time of year. Check out the OLA website to see lavender destinations and a wide array of events happening in the coming weeks.
